I'll need to do some glitching shit for this one... and then it will be a very tedious Rare Candy/stat checking hunt... so I'm kind of avoiding this one for a while lol
Pokemon Crystal- Odd Egg
Status- unfinished, easy but kind of annoying
Odd Egg is NOT a hard hunt at all, but egg hatching in Gen 2 does kinda blow, and getting the eggs can be stressful, since if I fuck up I'll need to start a new save file... this one will be sooner rather than later I believe.
Pokemon Crystal- Random Encounter on Rt 2
Status- unfinished, difficult
This one is significantly more intimidating than the Odd Egg hunt... Pikachu is a 5% on Kanto's route 2, and I'm not sure there's a good way to increase that... this one is another that I'll be avoiding a while.
Pokemon Emerald- Safari Zone
Status- unfinished, difficult
Safair Week target aka Masochism Simulator. Other than being an old odds hunt, this one shouldn't be too bad, but also with the safari zone's chance to flee... this one could be a heartbreaker.
Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green- Random Encounter in Viridian Forest or Power Plant
Status- unfinished, difficult
Potentially annoying but not that bad for an old odds hunt; debating whether to hunt in the forest or the power plant, since they both have their pros and cons.
Pokemon Platinum- Pokeradar in Trophy Garden
Status- unfinished, easy
While Pokeradar is... certainly not my strong suit, this will not be one of the more strenous hunts. Even if I don't radar, with Static, Pichu and Pikachu will not be hard to encounter, so this will not be a very intensive hunt. Will update if I decide not to do radar, obvs.
Pokemon Soul Silver- Random Encounter in Viridian Forest
Status- ongoing, medium
Old odds, but with my Notch-eared Pichu in the lead, Static makes Pikachu VERY common. Shouldn't be too bad, knock on wood.
Pokemon Black/White or Black 2/White 2- Masuda Method
Status- unfinished, easy
I got myself a copy of Japanese Black, so I have infinite Japanese Dittos with which to breed Pikachus... this is just a matter of getting everything set up eventually. Might breed a few of these.
Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire- Random Encounter in the 'Safari Zone'
Status- unfinished, easy*
The asterisk on difficulty is because I plan to get the shiny charm for these games, but if I don't, this is harder. Still a modern odds game, but harder.
Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire- Lock Removal Cosplay Pikachu
Status- unfinished, medium
Because I can't transfer her out anyway, I have no qualms about using a lock removal cheat to get a shiny Cosplay Pikachu; she shouldn't be shiny locked in the first place!! Medium difficulty because cheats intimidate me.
Pokemon Ultra Moon- SOS Chain on Route 1
Status- complete, easy
This darling girl was found on July 24th, 2025! Incredibly, she's rash natured- Ellie's canon nature, and somewhat vain. I got her in a fast ball, but I kind of wish I'd done a Beast Ball; oh well, for another time. I still love the Fast Ball! I can't imagine a better use for it. If I remember correctly this was all done in one session, so it couldn't've been that long a hunt... either way, she's so cute and so worth it.
Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon- Surfing Pikachu Soft Reset

This one has taken far longer than it deserves, but eventually she'll shine.

Real excited to get this glitchy weirdo; the medium difficulty is mostly because I have to check them for the star instead of using the sprite.
Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu- Catch Chain in Viridian Forest
Status- unfinished, easy
Not much to say about this one; catch chains can be fickle, but as long as I have enough pokeballs and lures, it'll be fine.
Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu- Alolan Raichu Trade
Status- unfinished, easy
With a turbo controller, you can literally do this hunt AFK, so I'm not worried about this one.

I honestly haven't decided how I wanna get a chu in this game! So... this is a placeholder lol. I at least know I wanna make her a Gigantimax in this game, but since the gift Gigachu is shinylocked, I'll have to think of something else.

Pokeradar 2, this time it sucks worse. Hopefully the modern odds will compensate for the worse odds of continuing a chain.

I don't know where this chu will come from, so I can't speak for its difficulty as a hunt... I do know I want an alpha though, so that's the crux of this game's hunt.
Pokemon Violet- Destiny Mark
Status- complete, medium
Completed with help from my lovely wife! Might hunt more of these some day, but this lil baby I plan to keep as a Pikachu forever. Will update with dates and shit once I can.

This is less a concrete hunt and more a catagory of hunts I wanna do; I want Ellies with cool marks!! Theoretically this can also be a SWSH hunt... will work on solid plans later.
