First Shiny of the year goes to this Shiny Clauncher I got from Pokemon Go. There was some sort of. Lobster event going on, with Clauncher and Corphish and stuff, and this lil red guy surprised me!
Louis, like... Louisiana, like cajun food... Shimps.
Anddd coming in just a few hours late of being my first Shiny of the year, this widdle Cyndaquil in Heart Gold!
You may notice this is the only Johto starter not on my Bingo sheet; this is because I've gotten this exact shiny before! So this lil man is a dupe. I ended up giving him to my wifey, since she gave me her second shiny Budew from her Eterna Forest Buneary hunt. So, the hunt for Chikorita and Totodile continues! I really want Chikorita; if my next shiny is Totodile I'll keep going for Chikorita, but if its the bean then I'll probably take a break and resume this hunt at a later date... I've been doing a LOT of resets.

Lil squishy guy this morning... shiny Alolan Grimer in GO!
I LOVE Grimer and Muk... they're so happy and want hugs! Ash's Muk is one of my favorites he's ever had hehe. Very proud of the name of this one, also. Let's see if I get anything while I'm ACTUALLY hunting today...

First Wormhole Wednesday of the year! For me, anyway, I forgot before this lol.
I've been sick as a DOG for DAYS... a combo of a cold and unfortunate period timing (not that there's ever a GOOD time for a period lol) knocked me on my ASS... for a lot of it I was too out of it to even shiny hunt lol. But! Managed to get a couple encounters in the Wormholes before I ran out of energy, and one of them was this fluffy fellow! The name Dubby comes from my wife, lol- she had an Altaria named Dubby on her team when we played through Pokemon Scarlet together.

Shiny Buneary in Platinum, courtesy of my wife!!
This isn't even my shiny; I took a bit of a break from shiny hunting for a bit, due to being too sick to do much and also burning myself out a bit, but! My wife was searching for this Shiny Buneary for 2 years on and off, and I was so hype when she found it it felt like I found a shiny myself lol. So here is Aubrey! 2 years in the making, and according to my wife, all worth it. Unfortunately she has Klutz, but we take those. She's named after the character from Omori.

First phase for Pikachu in Viridian Forest in Soul Silver, an Oul :3
I was hoping to get some cool phases out of this hunt! This lil guy surprised me, just before midnight; he was like an hour from being my first Febuary shiny lol. Might change his name if I think of something I like more or something, but I've been thinking a lot about Zelda this month, so Mr. Gaebora came to mind hehe. As a side note, I'm already so happy I've started this page to keep track of my shinies; I actually feel like I've gotten stuff done this month! Hoping I find some more cool stuff in Febuary, mayhaps some targets? We'll see.

Another Wormy Wednesday find, who I was very happy about!
Named after my beloved Ludicolo from my Genlocke, SwampSteps. I've been in a LOT of pain and pretty tired this month, so I haven't been doing a lot... trying to get some encounters in for stuff though! Preparing for AbsolBlogs' future SWSH Surprise Trade event by preparing some Ellies to trade out hehe. We'll see how much else I get this month, if anything.

Wormy Wednesday find for this week!
Got good encounters in for this wednesday, and found this golden guy! I'm not crazy about the Lake Spirits, though Mesprit is my favorite if any, but Uxie has a very good shiny! And I eventually want to get all the Wormhole shinies, which means I needed to get this fella eventually. While I didn't find it, I found Palkia's Wormhole at the end of the day, so I'm hoping to get that next wednesday; stay tuned if I actually find it!

A surprise baby!! Shiny Ellie!!
I want to trade Pikachus during the SWSH Surprise Trade event in April, so I've been thinking about where to get Pikachus the quickest, and while encountering in BDSP, I ran into a lil fella with a suntan!! Gonna have to put this one on the Elliequest page... back to collecting normal Pikachus, and hopefully finding some bingo targets... I wanted to have at least one by now...
And, in the same day, lol...
Was still testing out the best methods for catching bulk Chus, and having a lot of success with Let's Go, Pikachu! Got a couple boxes, along with this precious baby! Assuming I might get some more along the way to filling up my boxes in Shield lol... we'll see!

A surprise Shalpha!
Another phase for a hunt I've had going on for a while, looking for (hopefully) a shiny Alpha Chikorita in Zone 20. I've been checking the water starter spawns and the random Alphas under the remains of Prism Tower every time as well, hoping to get some cool phases :3 this guy is my second shalpha, so I was very happy to see him; Delibird is such a fun lil weirdo hehe! This was, I think my 7th or 8th phase on this hunt? The phases don't last too terribly long with the shiny charm, thankfully. In other news, I also completed the Dex in Let's Go, Pikachu, and got my shiny Meltan from Home, who I don't think I'll count here? But like... if I change my mind I'll add him in hehe. Hoping to knock out some targets soon, I've been droughting in the games that actually matter for my bingo card.
Well, later the same day- we had a storm warning so I had nothing better to do while waiting it out than shiny hunt, and!
Another shiny mega crossed off the list in this game, and one of my favorites from Gen 6! I named this one Cecil (yes, named after the guy you're thinking of and yes, that is in fact what I'm named after lol), but considering the shiny colors, maybe Kevin would be more accurate?
So, while I was taking photos of my new shiny Malamar...
I can't make this shit up.
Well, that completes the line for me lol! I assume I'm going to keep getting dupes of these funny fellas as my search for a shalpha Chikorita continues... well, I'll have treats to Wonder Trade once Pokemon Home opens up at least!

Another Wormy Wednesday, and a VERY stubborn target lol!
One of my favorite legendaries, who has REALLY stagnated my hunting in Ultra Moon for the last couple weeks... I didn't want to leave Palkia's wormhole, cause I REALLY wanted this particular shiny, but he was taking his sweetass time showing up lol. Hopefully whatever I hunt next is kinder, and HOPEFULLY I find Mewtwo soon for that reclaim! Anyway- named this darling boy Prince, after the Palkia who was on my E4 team in an ANCIENT Pearl nuzlocke I did, probably around 2016? I used over 50 Beast Balls trying to catch him lol...
And, at random-
I used all but one Ultra Ball catching other stuff that had spawned around me and when I saw that there was one Charmander still waiting to be checked, I thought 'lol watch this be shiny and I have ONE ball to catch it' and of course, guess who was yellow!! Thankfully I had some Golden Razz berries just to seal the deal, and this widdle guy is now mine :3c Saturn was another nuzlocke veteren, this time from an EXTREMELY scuffed randomizer rom I found online of Fire Red that didn't add the national dex to the game, therefore barring me from getting any non-Kanto 'mons for my team, so my ace was my starter, who by complete coincedence, was still a Charmander lol. Hoping to get this boy sent to Let's Go Pikachu after I evolve him!

A bit of a spoiler for my Genlocke, but... a surprise in the 11th hour!
Genlocke Heart Gold has been taking an ASTRONOMICAL amount of time, and while grinding for Blue, I ran into this beautiful cheese rock! Threw the Master Ball, since I was NOT gambling a shiny on Self-destruct lol. Named him Charm, since I'm hoping he'll act as a lucky charm for the remainder of this run; I REALLY wanna get this one done, since Heart Gold has easily taken the longest of the games I've played so far, and I am... anxious about the end of this run lol. Well, however it goes, Charm and his modest nature will not be involved.

More shiny 'Chus found while catching Pikachus to trade during AbsolBlogs' SWSH Surprise Trade Gauntlet, which started the day I'm posting this :3c got some really cool stuff, though the man himself hasn't yet received an Ellie... the dream is to get her into a video. In the meantime, I've gotten a TON of Pikachu candy and several Raichus I've been using to hunt for shiny Alolan Raichu from the trade lady in Saffron. If I have to get more Ellies for trading over the course of the gauntlet, I'm gonna almost certainly end up with more of these lil fellas, which I would NOT be mad about lol. We'll see! I might make a seperate page on here for all the cool stuff I got in the gauntlet... but who knows! Working on some other hunts, getting encounters in for a bunch of my bingo targets; I expected to have at least one by now...

First Bingo Target FINALLY!!! Prepare for soooo many pics of her.
While I was busy on Surprise Trade, I was hatching Bebe eggs, and FINALLY I got my shiny White Flower Flabebe!! Her name is Pride, since I specifically chose White Flower cause it looks like the trans flag :3c. I got her EV trained and evolved, but gonna be a while until I can do a ton more with her... planning to get as many ribbons on her as I can, including the Battle Maison ones, which I don't normally do... I'll see how it goes lol. Still gonna be pretty damn busy with the Surprise Trade Gauntlet, and I need to finally buckle down and get my Harvest Trevanent up to level 100 to help with Wormhole Wednesday, cause I found Yveltal today but Scarecrow can NOT handle that thing lol.
